2005 AND ALL TIME TOP BOEING RUNNERS

There have been 258 lunch hour 5K races including 226 of the last 228 months.  The winner of the first

lunch hour race held on the Seal Beach Rec Center track in April 1981 was Erick Solak in 18:16. There

have also been 116 guesstimate races, 225 team races and 210 mixed team events. Below are some top

10 stats for 2005 and top ten all time records.  We had 413 total runners in 2005 for an average of 38

runners per race. The record was 604 in 2001.    We have had 852 different runners run in our 259 races.

The December 2005 race was cancelled due to construction at the starting line.  This was only the 2nd

time in the last 19 years that we did not have a monthly race.
