DAVE FALLETTA WINS 125TH HEARTS PALACE WITH 21 PLAYING
Twenty-one players participated in the 125th Hearts Palace started 40 years ago.  Dave Falletta picked up his
first win.  Tim Carman won the last 2 games and is in first for games 120-125 detailed above.  Dave
Falletta led after 6 of the 8 rounds.  Al Manzey led after round 1 and Patrick Slagle led after round 6.
Dave had 127 points followed by Nelson Slagle at 139 Telly Gianarakos at 164 and John Slagle at 179.
Tim Carman won the last 2 games and is in first for games 120-125 detailed above.
Many records were broken as follows:
1- We had players from 4 states.  Jim Slagle represented Ohio, Russ Shinabarger came from Washington and
Denny Noh came from Texas.   We had over 16 players for the first time since our 2nd reunion game in April
1985 (Game 73) when 32 players participated.  We had 21 players for the 125th Hearts Palace.
2-  We also had the player coming the shortest distance when Chris O'Connell walked from two doors away.  Chris
works at Sea Launch with Brett Carman.
3- Patrick Slagle led a round to become the youngest player to ever lead after a round.  Patrick is 15.
4- Jim Slagle tied his record of coming the longest distance for the game (2339 miles).  This is the 6th time he
has come from Ohio.  If Jim McMillen plays, he will only be coming 2305 miles!
The next game is tentatively scheduled for 5 PM on Sunday, November 11, 2007.
The next stat sheet will include games 120-126.
