TELLY GIANARAKOS WINS GAME FOR THE AGES
Telly Gianarakos won his 16th Hearts Palace title and a record tying 3rd straight time.
Nelson Slagle won games 6, 7 and 8 in 1969.  Telly became the oldest winner at 82.  Telly's 16th
career win is one short of the 17 Nelson has won, but Telly has accomplised the feat in 32 fewer games.
In round 4 we had five players on the first table  with a record average age of 73.
Nelson led after the first two rounds, Telly led after rounds 3, 5, 7 and 8; Jerry Slagle led after round 4
and Nelson and John Wilford were tied after round 6 with Telly one point back!
