JOHN SLAGLE WINS GAME 132            
     John Slagle won game 132, his 2nd win in the last 4 games and 6th overall.  John led by 53 points after three  
rounds while totaling 18 points.  He still led by 47 points after 6 rounds then had his only above average round   
for 54 points to bracket 4 players within 20 points.   In round 8 Nelson ran the first hand when dealt or passed  
 the AKQJT7 of hearts.  Nelson was on lead and had a lay down and an 8 point lead.  Nelson led by 6 points   
going into the last round.  Nelson was dealt Qxx of spades on a hold hand.  Three leads flushed out the queen.    
John took 5 hearts on the first heart lead but held on for a two point win.  The two point win was the closest   
game since game 102 in 1996.  They 161 point winning score was 2nd highest score to win game in history of game
to the 169 winning score for Telly in game 126 in 2007.                
     Kevin Slagle led after the first round and John Slagle led after the final 7 rounds.          
     Out of town guests were Denny Noh from Texas and Jim Slagle from Ohio.  Jim helped the Slagles finish  in the
 top 4 spots and 4 points from having the top 5 finishers.                
     The last place score of 267 was the lowest since 256 in game 118 in November 2003.  The 106 points differential 
between 1st and last was the 2nd lowest of all time to the 100 point differential in game  83 of 1988.    
     We will schedule the next game when we have out of town guests so any of you out of Southern California  
players, let me know when you will be in the area.  Otherwise, next game will probably be in September.
