     We had 513 movie ratings in 2009, a tad less than the 555 in 2008 and the the 561 in 2007.  The Blind Side was the highest        
rated movie in 2009 with an average rating of 93.25.  The top 20 movies for 2009 are listed below.              
     We had 17 raters with Nelson setting an all time record of 116 ratings for one year.   Kristin Stoub's 67 ratings were          
the 2nd most ever ratings for a year by anyone other than Nelson.                    
     Four movies were the #1 movies by two of our 12 raters below: The Blind Side, Avatar, The Proposal and Inglorious Bastards.        
      Blind Side made 7 of our 12 raters top 5  below followed by The Proposal 4. Sunshine Cleaning 4, Avatar 3 and Inglorious        
Bastards 3.                           
     It took 21 ratings to make the top 10 raters in 2009, compared with 34 ratings in 2008, 27 ratings in 2007, 21 ratings in 2006,        
31 ratings in 2005, 30 ratings in 2004, 34 ratings in 2003, 38 ratings in 2001 and 33 ratings in 2000.                
     All five nominations for best picture rated at least 5 times ended up in our top 15.  The other 5 Best Picture candidates were rated        
1-4 times. In 2008 all five nominations for best picture ended up in our top 11, the best ever showing.  In 2004 four of 5 made the        
top 10. Only 3 of the Academy Award movies up for best picture cracked our raters top 20 in 2007.  They were Juno #3, No Country        
for Old Men #12 and Michael Clayton #17.  In 2006 we had two movies up for Best Picture in our top 20. In 2005 we had 3 best        
picture nominees making our top 20.   In 2004, four of the 5 Best Picture nominees were in our top 10.   In 2003, we had rated the        
Best Picture candidates 3rd, 4th and 5th.  In 2002 we had Best Picture candidates rated 3rd and 4th highest. In 2001 only one Best        
Picture candidate was rated over 90.  In 2000 we had Erin Brockvich 2nd,  in 1999 we had Best Pictures rated 2nd and 4th and in        
1998 no Best Picture candidate was rated over 88.
