TIM MOORE AND JIM SLAGLE TIE IN TIGER 2002 PREDICTIONS
Tiger finished 1 stroke back in the 4th major of the year thanks to 4 straight birdies to finish the last round.
He ended up winning 2 majors and was 7 combined strokes back in the other 2 events.  This left Jim Slagle, Ohio
and Tim Moore tied for first.  They both guessed 2 majors and 6 and 8 strokes out respectively.  Rounding out the top
five were: 3-  Jerry Slagle, 4- Dick Hammerstrom and 5- Gabe Maxwell.
Jim Slagle leads the three year Tiger predictions as he has total places of 10 including two wins in three
years.  Jerry is 2nd and Al Manzey is 3rd overall for those predicting all four years.

TIGER 6 STROKES OUT IN THE BRITISH OPEN
Thanks to a career high 81 on a miserable day on Saturday, Tiger Woods finished 6 strokes off the pace in
the British Open.  That leaves him with two majors with 1 major to go.  The current leader in the predicts is Jim Slagle
(Ohio) who guessed 2 wins and 6 strokes out.  Tim Moore with 2 and 8 and Jerry Slagle with 2 and 9 follow.

TIGER COASTS TO 2ND MAJOR WIN
Tiger breezed through the US Open to win his 2nd major of the year.  This leaves seven predictors in the
running for Tiger prediction champ for 2002 as seven predicted he would win 2 majors.

                                                   TIGER WINS FIRST MASTERS
Twelve predictors entered this year Tiger sweepstakes with seven predicting 2 majors, four
predicting 1 major and 1 predicting 0 majors.  Tiger won the Masters by 3 strokes.

GERRY HAMILTON WINS 2001 TIGER SWEEPSTAKES
Gerry Hamilton rode another poor major by Tiger to the 2001 championship.  Gerry was one of
four predictors to correctly pick Tiger to win one major in 2001.  But Gerry was closest to the number of
strokes Tiger would be out of first in the other majors.  Gerry guessed 20 while runner up Brett
Carman predicted 15.  Four predicted Tiger to win 4 majors and 5 predicted he would win 2 majors.
Brett Carman is the best predictor for the two years we have predicted Tiger majors
with a 2nd and 3rd place finish to his credit.

TIGER LOSES BY 9 IN 3RD MAJOR
Tiger Woods finished 9 strokes behind British Open winner David Duval.  One
more major remaining.  If Tiger doesn't win the 4th major of the year, either Gerry Hamilton or Brett
Carman will be the winner. Gerry is the winner if Tiger is 2+ strokes out of first.
If Tiger wins the remaining major, Al Manzey will be champ.

TIGER COOLS OFF IN US OPEN
Tiger finally cooled off and lost his first major in the last 5.  In the process it gave
those guys predicting one major for Tiger some hope!

                                              TIGER WINS FIRST MAJOR
Tiger woods won the first major putting the four predicting one major in an
apparent dangerous situation.  Those 5 predicting 2 majors appear to have the upper hand.
